Mrs. Morgan earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from Hampton University (1990). She has been employed as a Supervisory Accountant for the United States Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) for nine years. During her tenure at HHS, God has blessed her to travel extensively to deliver formal presentations, technical assistance and training regarding federal financial reporting and cash management for cooperative agreement funding awarded by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC). She has provided assistance to several international organizations who have received grant funding for the study of medical research for the influenza pandemic and the United States President’s Emergency Plan for AIDS Relief (PEPFAR) in Egypt, Ethiopia, Ivory Coast, Kenya, Nigeria and Zimbabwe.
Prior to joining HHS, Mrs. Morgan was formerly employed by the United States Government Accountability Office (GAO) as Supervisory Accountant for six years.
Mrs. Morgan currently serves as a Deaconess at Doxa Ministries Church Without Walls in Owings Mills, Maryland. She also participates in the Music and Fine Arts Ministry, the Finance Ministry, the “God’s Lightning Bolts” Children’s Ministry and the Sound Ministry. She is a psalmist for and has ministered as a soloist for many other venues. She is married to Deacon Todd G. Morgan and they reside in Ellicott City, Maryland.
